Welcome back to Old Town San Diego. I took a self-guided tour of The Whaley House, which was deemed a haunted house by the United States Commerce Department. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary, nor did I feel any cold spots while there. I was just walking around amazed that the Whaley home, built in 1857, was not only a family home, but the Whaley & Crosthwaite General Store, a county court house, and a theater to the growing community. The Whaleys lived pretty opulently in their 2-story home furnished with mahogany and rosewood furniture, Brussels carpets and damask drapes. The other photos are of a couple of outdoor markets. I love the leather goods and Mexican pottery.
