Sweet views ....

I finally got the chance to ride the Pacific Wheel on the Santa Monica Pier. Apparently it's the world's only solar-powered Ferris wheel and features more than 160,000 energy-efficient LED lights. Pretty cool. These were taken several weeks ago when my friend Angela was visiting. It was fairly early in the afternoon, so there weren't a lot of people on the ride as you can see. We were up more than 130 feet, perfect height to admire the coastline.
