Shop love

A few weeks ago, I stopped into Apolis (it means global citizen) after I bought a few things at Poketo next door. I was actually drawn into the store by Apolis' creative window display and then immediately fell in love with the socially conscious men's shop.

Its philosophy is co-creating products with manufacturers and allowing the market to determine the future of each item that is produced. The owners and brothers, Raan and Shea Parton, call it "advocacy through industry" and have always believed in the idea that people can live better lives if they are given equal access to opportunity. What an incredible shop and mission. I'm definitely heading back there to pick up something for the men in my life. Apolis is located on 806 E. 3rd St., Los Angeles.
