Last year, I featured Foster Huntington's popular photo series, The Burning House (Check out my post here). This time, I wanted to share his new website, Out of Reception, where he documents his travels. His story? He left his design job in August 2011 and bought a VW van. He's since driven 40,000 miles around the west and has devoted much of his time surfing, camping and photographing interesting people and moments during his adventures. I'm living vicariously through him today. Here's his other site.
OMG, I'm not a surfer! But I want to get a van like this and drive around California, Oregon and Washington for the summer. Possibly head up into Canada too! How cool would that be? This is great inspiration!
