UNIQUE LA's Summer Show was this weekend, and once again, I found an amazing assortment of locally made goodness. This independent design show is all about the Made in the USA movement and introducing passionate artisans and small business owners to the masses. If you're interested in future shows, follow UNIQUE founder Sonja Rasula here. Oh, and she's taken UNIQUE on the road. It was just in San Francisco, and will soon be in New York.

So unique ....

This weekend, I stopped by Unique LA at the California Market Center. There was definitely plenty to choose from. Here's a few of the cool things I saw.

Nan Lawson ....

I found these cute and quirky prints from Nan Lawson while at Unique LA. I thumbed through some great "nerdy art" and ended up taking the "Grunge Typewriter" print home (below). Had I brought more money with me, I would have bought a lot more. Well, thank goodness she has an Etsy shop!

Unique LA ....

It's always a good weekend when Unique LA is around. Yesterday, my brother and I spent a few hours at the Santa Monica Air Center's Barker Hangar for Unique LA, the largest independent design show where attendees can shop from more than 250 local designers and artists. We saw a lot of great and beautiful work. I took home a very pretty necklace from Nikki Montoya Jewelry, and prints from Nan Lawson Illustration and Photo Letters. It was a good day! P.S. My brother took the photos below. He's good, right?!?
