Poise. Focus. Strength. Balance. Sacrifice. Grace. Elegance. Exhilaration. Romance. Flight. Art. Ballet was not something I did as a child. My mom asked once if I wanted to take lessons, but I said no because I was scared to do the splits. I wish I said yes. To watch a performance now, I can't help but get caught up in the magic of it all. Ballet is beauty in motion.
