The castle was built in the 1920s and is on three acres. Moby bought the dwelling last year for under $4 million and spent an additional $2 million to restore the home. He preserved the wood-beamed ceiling, replaced the original floors that were painted black, and gutted the old kitchen. He then furnished the home with midcentury modern pieces, which I love.
Before: The original walls were painted dark gray and the wall above the gothic fireplace was covered with shells. Thank goodness that's all gone.
