Dream home

Check out this darling once for sale, but now taken studio located in Skanstorget, Göteborg, Sweden. This space is about tranqquilityyyy and I wish I had it all to myself. Since it's not, let's admire from afar, shall we?

The listing for Skanstorget 3B came from Ähre Agency. The apartment is in a stone house built in 1902 and has all the original woodwork and classic details. But it was the kitchen that made me swoon over this natural light-filled home! The dark floral wallpaper from Sandberg made me stop and go "yes, so pretty." And when I saw the white Smeg fridge, I just about died with envy. IDK Smegs do that to me.

Now, let's zero in on that fireplace with the gorgeous detail at the top. It's on my future home's wish list and it doesn't matter where I end up because I will have one in my living room/dining room. Not kidding. I also can't get enough of the pretty plants, the balcony and the spiral staircase outside the front door. Yep, all this makes me happy. There's more to see of Skanstorget 3B so head on over to Ähre. Dream home

This home tour from Bolig Magazine took my breath away. Seriously. This gorgeous home belongs to Dorthe Kvist and her husband Jacob and according to the feature, she fell in love with the house at first sight. The garden architect, designer and author said it looked like a "fairy tale castle with overgrown garden, kitschy carpets and empty space." That description has just made it into my must-haves list for my own future home.

Each room in this Copenhagen home has one or two special somethings that make me smile. My favorites: The art wall, which includes a graphic collage by Anna Sorensen and Dorthe's photos from Vietnam; the kitchen's abundance of natural light, as well as the wall-mounted flower pot system that can hold herbs and other plants; the vibrant yellow table and floor cushions in that cozy work space; the entryway's giant poppy wallpaper from Osborne & Little; the gold tufted headboard in the bedroom; and the branch used as the shower rod in the bathroom. Siiiggghhhhh. This home really is a dream.

Dream home

This apartment is a total stunner. It's bright, there's a wonderful amount of pastels sprinkled throughout the home, and the Scandinavian design is sooooo goooood. I found this home tour on Studio Oink, a creative lab founded by Lea Korzeczek and Matthias Hiller. The talented duo worked with the owners of this small two-bedroom apartment located in a pre-WWII-building in Wiesbaden, Germany, and designed it to feel spacious. This gives me hope that I can do the same with my place.

While working on the apartment, Lea and Matthias restored the original floor boards, used metro tiles in the kitchen, and built a cupboard made out of antique windows for a large pottery collection. In the hallway, there's a white floor-to-ceiling wardrobe, and a loft bed was built into the office/guest room.

Other details I love? The pink door handle in the bathroom, the wooden bench in the hallway, and the mismatched mugs and white floors in the kitchen. I'm a little jealous of the couple who lives in the apartment. If I lived there, I'd spend a lot of time on that loft bed. It looks so comfy. 

Dream home

This is the sweetest little abode I've ever seen. The lucky homeowners are Jessica Tremp and Michael Madden and they have embraced country living soon after moving to Australia's Macedon Ranges. I was instantly drawn to this home after seeing two-year-old Syd's adorable bedroom. I want colorful dots on one of my bedroom walls. Is that weird? I also adore the artwork, all of the turquoise accents, and the hodgepodge of chairs found throughout this comfy and happy home. I would love to live here!

store. LA is a definite must visit if you are looking for one-of-a-kind items. My favorite, and the one that initially caught my eye, is the Leaves in my House wallpaper in blue (below). Then my eyes wandered throughout the site and found more things that would easily fit into my home. Like this, this and this.

Looking through Tales of Endearment is my new favorite pastime. Similar to The Coveteur, Tales of Endearment is Natalie Joos' blog where she tours the homes of fashion's elite and peeks into their closets. I really enjoyed Natalie's visit with Yulia Magdych and Daria Shapovalova in The Tale of Two Matryoshkas. You can see why in these photos. Both ladies have great style.
