San Diego ....

Tuesday, July 26

On Sunday, I spent a good part of the afternoon walking around Old Town San Diego, and visited a couple of interesting historic sites. One was the Whaley House, designated an official Haunted House by the United States Commerce Department -- I'll post photos of that soon -- and the other is the Casa de Estudillo. It is an 1800s adobe house with 13 rooms. I love the inner courtyard and its garden with fountain. So peaceful. The other photos below are of the Rust General Store. It's a little foodies paradise and I wish I lived closer so I can go back. Part II coming tomorrow.

  1. Christine,

Thank you for mentioning our store on your blog. The photos are all very nice, good work! It looks like you visited our shop not long after we opened our doors for business, in July of 2011. If you are in the area we encourage you to come back down and see all the changes to the store and the new products that have arrived since your last visit. Hope to see you soon.

    Thank you,

    Jonathon & Toni
