Millay Vintage

Monday, July 14

Hello, again. It's certainly been a while since I've blogged on LS. Wow, almost a year. One reason for my absence is work. Then when all of my freelance commitments were done, I needed a major brain break so I stayed away to recharge. I still played on Pinterest and Tumblr, but I really missed spending time here. I've since taken a step back from freelancing (I still have my 9-6 job), and I'm back to blogging. To freshen up the space, Lauren, a Los Angeles-based artist, illustrated the protea for my header and I just looovveee it. It's perfectl with the new site design from Blog Milk. Do you like it?

So, back to sharing pretty things! Let's start with Millay Vintage. The 2014 Lookbook is wonderfully romantic and the outfits are so so so pretty. One thing you should know about me? I will never ever turn away from a vintage or vintage-inspired embroidered blouse. I won't even tell you how many I have in my closet right now. Another reason to love this shop? Its owner, Mary, is inspired by Edna St. Vincent Millay, and has looked to the early 20th century American poet as her muse. Perfect choice, I think.
