I was excited to find out yesterday that a new film adaptation of Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre will be released in March! I've loved Jane Eyre since I was in elementary school and have watched many film and TV versions of the dark love story. So I was so happy to learn that director Cary Fukunaga and screenwriter Moira Buffini stayed close to the novel and played up the Gothic elements.
Mia Wasikowska stars as Jane Eyre,
Michael Fassbender plays Edward Rochester and
Judi Dench is Mrs. Fairfax. Watch the trailer

"I had not intended to love him; the reader knows I had wrought hard to extirpate from my soul the germs of love there detected; and now, at the first renewed view of him, they spontaneously arrived, green and strong! He made me love him without looking at me." -Jane
